I had this quick video filmed this morning as many of my friends have been asking me how things have been going with my training and projects. I always feel there are things I could have done better but I guess that is what keeps me working hard on things in the present. Trying to make “right” today what was “wrong” in the past. I think that as long as I work hard, keep focused and have a positive attitude I can live with whatever happens. My abs in this video @ 3 weeks out from my show in New York, the NPC Brooklyn Grand Prix being put together by Bev Francis. She and her husband Steve always put on great shows and I am just honored to be part of it.

A Sense of Purpose: Fighting for Our Lives
When four veterans, two men, Shawn Wallace and Alexander Blakely, and two women, Sabrina Smith and Nancy Dawson, who served in Iraq or Afghanistan during wartime return home they all suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Turning to drugs and alcohol and struggling with depression they find that an unconventional form of therapy, Mixed Martial Arts. It helps them heal, assimilate back into society and find peace. I play the character role of Sgt. Jason Garrett who served in Iraq with Lt. Alexander Blakely (Clinton Bullock). Together we open an MMA school together in Philadelphia to serve veterans. The school is Elite Warriors MMA & Boxing School.*

I think as a model/actor versatility is a key ingredient to being successful. Being able to show a wide variety of looks makes for a better well rounded person. There are times when being somewhat more conservative is the nature of the character being looked for and of course other times when a look that is a bit rougher & hard-hitting is sought after.
