I haven’t seen my dad in years, and the death of my younger brother Brian a few months ago finally made me realize life can be short. Nothing is guaranteed, not even tomorrow. I just left everything and went to visit the old man. Full hockey scholarship to Boston University, and he could have gone pro back in the mid-60s if he hadn’t blown his shoulder out after just his sophomore year (1st row, 4th from the right #17 in the team photo).
