CLASSES…..WINNING THE OPEN MEN’S PHYSIQUE CLASS, THE MASTER’S MEN’S
PHYSIQUE CLASS AND THE OVERALL MEN’S PHYSIQUE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE LAST
NIGHT AT THE 2013 NPC Vermont Bodybuilding Championships. It was truly
one of the greatest nights of my life. I would like to personally thank
promoter Mike Feulner for giving me the opportunity to compete in this
great event. Mike is one of the greatest promoters in the world and it
was great to see him again. After the show I was able to speak with
Mike. Among other things I told Mike how much I respected him as a
promoter, human being and personal friend of mine. Just amazing! I would
like to thank the judging panel for believing in me. It was an honor
standing before you in 3 separate line ups. I would like to thank IFBB
Pro Jose Raymond. Jose is one of the best bodybuilders in the world. The
kindness and words of encouragement he has shown me will forever be
appreciated. “You’re an amazing athlete and friend Jose, proud of you
for everything you have done in the bodybuilding and fitness
world…..honored to call you my friend.” IFBB Figure Pro Amy Puglise, it
was honor to meet you in person. You are truly a credit to the fitness
industry. Thank you so much for all the kind words you said to me while I
was waiting to walk onto the stage. You are a beautiful person inside
and out! God Bless you always Amy. Special thanks to the man, my friend,
police officer and go to guy Larry Cuzzi. Thank you my brother for
going on the journey with me, I couldn’t have done it without you and
all of the inspiration and motivation you gave me to stay mentally tough
and keep going. As I told people before this show I felt in my heart
there was something special about it. It was exactly 1 month to the day
my grandfather died. He was like my father. One month to the day I was
at his bedside as the very last person to tell him how much he was loved
before God called him home. I told people if I won my class I would
dedicate it to him but to win all 3 classes and take the Overall Men’s
Physique Championship it was like something out of a movie. I told
people if won the overall title I would get emotional. It didn’t happen
on stage but I did speak after the event on camera and I thanked a few
special people about my win. I did get very emotional on film when I
said that I dedicate this night, “to the greatest man I have ever
known…..my grandfather, Bill Hafner.” After the show when I spoke with
Mike Feulner I told him I thanked him on film and the video would go
global in the near future. When I gave my thank you speech after this
event it really came from my heart. I wanted those special people to
know how much I appreciate them and how thankful I am to God for
granting me this moment. I did work very hard and I am honored as I will
forever look back on this night as one of my life’s greatest. ”
“This video update was filmed the day before my first show of 2013, the NPC Vermont Bodybuilding Championships on April 27th Men’s Physique Division. As an Official Athletic Xtreme Sponsored Athlete I will be representing TEAM AX.
